Baseball Recap: Page Beats Tuba City for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Page extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 13-9 in the process. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tuba City Warriors 4-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 15-8 victory back in March.

Micheal Gonzales made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

As for Tuba City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

On Tuba City's side, they saw ten different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juanito Baca, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Page wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-6 loss against Round Valley on the 18th. As for Tuba City, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Monument Valley on the 21st.
