Soccer Recap: West Carteret Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

West Carteret's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the South Lenoir Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering West Carteret's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit South Lenoir with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sasha Baker (3), Sam Huber, and Daniela Saldana.

West Carteret's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11-3. As for South Lenoir, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither West Carteret nor South Lenoir have any future games scheduled.
