Franklin Road Christian strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Central Christian Saints to the tune of 63-22. Fans of the Minutemen have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Franklin Road Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lakelyn Dempsey, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Dempsey has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryleigh Dempsey, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Franklin Road Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Franklin Road Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Central Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Franklin Road Christian and Central Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Minutemen see the court they'll take on Boyd Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 18. As for Central Christian, their break will end when they face Gulf Pointe Latin at 5:30 p.m. on December 19.
