Arendell Parrott Academy dropped their record down to 16-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games.

For Thales Academy Rolesville's part, Cooper Nash was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Nash a new career-high.
