George Ranch suffered their biggest defeat since November 19, 2024 on Monday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Fort Bend Elkins Knights an easy 68-42 win. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.

George Ranch dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Fort Bend Elkins, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, George Ranch will venture away from home to face off against Wheatley at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Fort Bend Elkins will take on Strake Jesuit in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
