Soccer Recap: Broome Comes Up Short

Broome lost to Woodruff back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wolverines who were credited with the win. The Woodruff Wolverines got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Broome Centurions' one. Broome have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Broome's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Woodruff, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4-1.

Broome wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Union County on the 17th. As for Woodruff, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Greer Middle College on the 17th.
