Marion has gone 9-0-1 against Tazewell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Scarlet Hurricanes will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Marion's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Marion fell victim to Lebanon and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Tazewell hadn't done well against Virginia High recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Tazewell, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Justin Thomas and Logan McDonald scored all four of Tazewell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Tazewell, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Marion took their win against Tazewell when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Scarlet Hurricanes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
