After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five contests, Tri County Area finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Big Rapids Cardinals. Tri County Area's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Tri County Area's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 10-2-1. As for Big Rapids, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
