Baseball Recap: Rejoice Christian Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Rejoice Christian hadn't done well against Cascia Hall recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Commandos with a sharp 13-5 win. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rejoice Christian got a massive performance out of Maverick Guinn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Eagles are undefeated when Guinn posts two or more runs, but 7-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Trace Sanchez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rejoice Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.

Rejoice Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Cascia Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Looking ahead, Rejoice Christian will head out on the road to face off against Aspire HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cascia Hall, they will face off against Westville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
