Softball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

Brewster lost against Yorktown back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bears took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava Medina made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Siuda, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Yorktown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Brewster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Ketcham on the 16th. Yorktown has also already played their next game (against Mahopac), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
