Basketball Recap: Madison Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Madison waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 62-54 win over the Point Loma Pointers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-62 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Madison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Runnar(rj) Miller, who went 5-for-10 en route to 14 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Tristen Moore, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Madison's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Point Loma, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Madison nor Point Loma have any future games scheduled.
