Basketball Recap: Cassopolis Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cassopolis entered their tilt with Comstock on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Comstock Colts by a score of 64-53. This was a revenge game for the Rangers: when they faced off against the Colts back in December of 2024, they had to take a 60-53 loss.

Cassopolis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ayden Gillam, who posted 20 points and five boards. The contest was Gillam's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Pratt, who scored 16 points.

Cassopolis' win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Comstock, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Cassopolis will take on Marcellus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Comstock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomingdale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
