Baseball Recap: Twin Falls Falls Short Against Ranked Bonneville

Twin Falls faced Bonneville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bruins fell just short of the Bees by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bees this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-10 loss on Saturday.

Cooper Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Twin Falls and nudges their season record down to 26-8. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Bonneville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-4.

As of now, neither Twin Falls nor the Bees have any future games scheduled.
