Football Game Recap: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. Northwestern Bulls

Hialeah fell victim to Northwestern and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 26-0 to the Bulls, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Thoroughbreds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Bulls are ranked 56th).

Jade Yacinthe was a one-woman wrecking crew For Northwestern. as she threw for 187 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of her passes, and also rushed for 39 yards.

Hialeah's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Northwestern, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Hialeah will face off against TERRA Environmental at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. TERRA Environmental will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hialeah surely won't give up without a fight. Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
