Baseball Recap: Bennington Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bennington's offense. They came up short against the Calera Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bennington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Calera, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Coming up, Bennington will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Towson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Calera, they will host Dibble at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Demons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
