Custer is a perfect 10-0 against Lead-Deadwood since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Custer Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Custer is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Spearfish, who was ranked 19th at the time (Custer was ranked 20th). Custer might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 52-45 to Spearfish, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, Lead-Deadwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 70-65 to Little Wound.

Custer's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Lead-Deadwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
