Recap: Tallulah Academy Trojans vs. Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack

This season hasn't been kind to the Tallulah Academy Trojans, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They were beaten by Woodlawn Prep 60-27 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tallulah Academy has scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodlawn Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cole Sinclair, who scored 20 points. Sinclair has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Carney, who scored 11 points.

Tallulah Academy dropped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Woodlawn Prep, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tallulah Academy will take on the Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Louisiana (Tensas Academy is ranked 317th, while the Trojans are ranked 323rd). As for Woodlawn Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: JACOB SESSIONS and Sinclair.
