Baseball Recap: Fletcher Wins Going Away Against Verden

Fletcher's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Verden Tigers as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Gaddis, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jake Debois, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Fletcher now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Verden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Fletcher will square off against Navajo at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Verden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
