It was a good run, but Sylvan-Lucas unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Rock Hills Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Harlee Nelson paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up eight kills. Nelson got some help from Lily Pancost and her three assists.

Sylvan-Lucas' loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Rock Hills, their win bumped their record up to 29-1-1.

Sylvan-Lucas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tescott on the 11th. As for Rock Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lakeside on the 11th.
