Volleyball Recap: Unity's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Unity entered their tilt with Cameron on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Unity's got stronger as the match went on, holding Cameron to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Andrea Erickson paced Unity's offense, picking up 14 kills. Erickson got some help from Madison Wilhelm and her 15 assists. Erickson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Unity's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Cameron, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Looking ahead, Unity will be taking part in a tournament against Siren at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cameron, they will venture away from home to challenge Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
