            Football Recap: Riverside Generals vs. Bolles Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Englewood  last Friday, Riverside came back down to earth. The Generals were  outmatched by the Bolles Bulldogs and fell  45-14. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 14th).
Riverside lost  on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Jaidan Delaune, who threw for 260 yards and one  TD while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also punched in one  touchdown on the ground.
 Even if they lost, Riverside's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Josh Roberts,  Victor Burks,  and  Marvin Butler, who each picked up one  sack apiece.
 Bolles found their leader in sophomore  Asher Ghioto, who picked up  four  sacks and made eight total tackles (5.0 for loss).  Xander Edwards is also crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 100 every time he's  taken the field this season.  Naeem Burroughs was another key player, gaining 51 total yards and three touchdowns.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bolles, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.
 Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  64-45  defeat against ED White on the 24th. As for Bolles, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  56-6  win against Wolfson on the 24th.
