Marlyn Smith Game Report: vs Copperas Cove

A big congratulations to Marlyn Smith, who passed for at least 300 passing yards for the first time in his career. He threw for 360 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.4 yards per attempt as Ellison fell to Copperas Cove 50-46. Our internal rating system judged Friday's performance as the best he's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Looking ahead, Smith and Ellison are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: Ellison will face off against Killeen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
