Basketball Recap: Woodruff Wolverines vs. Laurens Raiders

After flying high against Chesnee last Friday, Woodruff came back down to earth. The Wolverines took a 43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laurens Raiders on Wednesday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Woodruff still got an impressive performance from Jensyn Turner, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Turner is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.
