Basketball Recap: Eden Valley-Watkins Takes a Loss

Eden Valley-Watkins was the 47-46 winner over Osakis when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles came up short against the Osakis Silverstreaks on Friday, falling 57-32. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eden Valley-Watkins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Osakis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Eden Valley-Watkins and Osakis could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Eden Valley-Watkins will challenge Royalton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 290 places (317 vs. 27). Meanwhile, Osakis (ranked 191st) will meet Minnewaska Area (ranked 49th) at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
