Basketball Recap: Bergenfield Takes a Loss

Bergenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights, falling 61-27. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Golden Knights are ranked 63rd).

Bergenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for NV - Old Tappan, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-4.

Bergenfield has already played their next contest (against Teaneck), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. NV - Old Tappan also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Pascack Valley.
