Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders vs. Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs

Given St. Thomas Aquinas' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Cardinal Gibbons is ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
St. Thomas Aquinas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drake (DJ) Sandi, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden (AJ) Ambrose, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
St. Thomas Aquinas is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Cardinal Gibbons, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.
