Lehigh Christian Academy is 6-1 against Salem Christian since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Salem Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Lehigh Christian Academy and 13 for Salem Christian dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Lehigh Christian Academy came up short against West Chester Christian and fell 66-54.

Despite the loss, Lehigh Christian Academy got top-tier performance from Jacob Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 17 boards. That was a full 61.1% of Lehigh Christian Academy's points, marking the 13th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mark Hauser, who had nine points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Salem Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 80-65 fall against Valley Forge Baptist Academy. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 720th, while the Patriots are ranked 339th).

Lehigh Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Salem Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Lehigh Christian Academy suffered a grim 68-45 defeat to Salem Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Lehigh Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
