Basketball Recap: Harvey Comes Up Short

Harvey was the 58-42 winner over Westhope/Newburg when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Harvey Hornets were dealt a 60-30 loss at the hands of the Westhope/Newburg Sioux on Tuesday. The game marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Harvey has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Westhope/Newburg, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-17.

Harvey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westhope/Newburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-48 defeat against Berthold on the 13th.
