The Rochester Zebras will face off against the Twin Lakes Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rochester is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Twin Lakes will be up against a hot Rochester squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Zebras came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Southwood. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Bria Rensberger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aubrey Wilson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Jadyn Field was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Rochester hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwood struck out ten times.

Meanwhile, Twin Lakes didn't have quite enough to beat South Newton on Wednesday and fell 9-8.

Twin Lakes saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Shrock, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Twin Lakes' defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Rochester, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Rochester took their win against Twin Lakes in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-0 score. Do the Zebras have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
