Basketball Game Preview: Christchurch School Seahorses vs. Grace Christian School Kings

The Christchurch School Seahorses will head out on the road to square off against the Grace Christian School Kings at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, Christchurch School was beaten by Trinity Episcopal 82-26. While losing is never fun, the Seahorses can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Titans are ranked 42nd).

Alexis Foster put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted 19 points. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 48-23 to Veritas School.

Christchurch School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Grace Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Christchurch School strolled past Grace Christian School in their previous matchup last Saturday by a score of 43-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christchurch School since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
