Volleyball Recap: Ragsdale Takes Down Western Guilford in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ragsdale walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Western Guilford Hornets on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ragsdale had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17.

Emily Fisher went supernova, getting 32 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Ragsdale's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Western Guilford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Ragsdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Kings Mountain on the 21st. Western Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
