Tri-County had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Faith Christian Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-43. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 51-48 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Tri-County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Drew Foster led the charge by shooting 63% from the field to rack up 12 points and five steals. With that strong performance, Foster is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Atkinson, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points and five boards.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gabe Miller, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 14 points. Luke Miller was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.

Tri-County's record now sits at 9-10. As for Faith Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Tri-County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-41 defeat against Clinton Prairie on the 22nd. As for Faith Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-68 loss against Rossville on the 22nd.
