Volleyball Recap: Everglades Gators vs. South Plantation Paladins
Everglades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Plantation Paladins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
While Everglades was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into South Plantation's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-22.
Everglades' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for South Plantation, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everglades will take on Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Plantation, they will challenge Plantation at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
