While most ranked teams in Missouri are heavily favored to win their games again this week and retain their positions in the polls, Mound City and Worth County will be laying it all on the line for eight-man supremacy in the Show Me State.

Although the Panthers currently sit at the top of the rankings, Worth County, the second ranked eight-man team in Missouri has played well enough so far this season to stake a claim to the No. 1 ranking as well.

Senior quarterback Taylor Sharp will lead Mound City into battle this weekend after throwing for 473 yards and nine touchdowns in four games this season. He also rushed for 386 yards and seven scores on 33 carries.

He also caught 10 balls for 174 yards and three scores. On the defensive side of the ball, Treece leads the team with 10.5 tackles per game.

Miles Clifton has 134 yards rushing on 22 carries and has scored four times running the ball this season.

Travis Null goes into the game after throwing for 337 yards on 15 of 22 passing and nine touchdowns, compared to just one interception for Worth County. Null will rely on Kyle Hiatt to keep the defense honest by establishing a running game. Hiatt has rushed the ball 36 times for 430 yards and eight touchdowns for Worth County.

Spelling Hiatt at times will be Andrew Davidson, who carried the ball 17 times for 153 yards and five touchdowns so far this season. Barrett Baker has 101 rushing yards and a touchdown to his name.
