Baseball Recap: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Northwestern Huskies
Hillsdale won against Northwestern on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Hillsdale Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northwestern Huskies and snuck past 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for Hillsdale who now have four in a row.
Gavin Casdorph spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Jack Fickes was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Owen Hoffman, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.
