Westmont Hilltop is returning to their home court after beating Central Cambria on theirs, despite the fact Central Cambria has dominated at home this season. Westmont Hilltop came out on top against Central Cambria by a score of 54-42 last Monday. The win continues a trend for the Hilltoppers in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, West Shamokin ended up a good deal behind Punxsutawney on Friday and lost 54-37. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolves came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Chucks are ranked 396th).

Westmont Hilltop's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for West Shamokin, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6.
