Baseball Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

Palisades suffered their closest loss since April 9, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Southern Lehigh Spartans by a score of 3-1. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Palisades now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Southern Lehigh, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palisades will take on rival Catasauqua at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southern Lehigh is set to face off against their familiar foe Salisbury Township at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
