Basketball Recap: Old Forge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Western Wayne last Thursday, Old Forge came back down to earth. The Old Forge Blue Devils took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Vikings. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Old Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Riverside, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Old Forge and Riverside should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Old Forge (ranked 70th) will meet Mid Valley (ranked 216th) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Riverside will face off against Lakeland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday up 446 places (27 vs. 473).
