Recap: Bell Griffins vs. Bard Falcons
The Bell Griffins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They secured a 63-57 W over Bard. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Syrus Edwards was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Cire WIlson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Bell and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Bard, they have fallen quite a ways from their 24-7 record last season and are now at 3-11.
Bell will be playing in front of their home fans against Cardozo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cardozo is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Bard, they will face off against Anacostia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Anacostia is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
