Football Recap: Hoover Takes Down Ranked Spain Park + How To Watch

Hoover faced Spain Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Buccaneers walked away with a 21-10 victory over the Jaguars. This was payback for the Buccaneers, who suffered a 39-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hoover's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.2 points over those games. As for Spain Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will challenge Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Buccaneers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Spain Park, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
