Volleyball Recap: Dominguez Comes Up Short

Dominguez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Paramount Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-7.

Dominguez's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Paramount, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dominguez is set to challenge their familiar foe Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Paramount will take on rival Gahr at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
