Stoneman Douglas had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 72-55 victory over the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.

Stoneman Douglas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Pompano Beach, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Stoneman Douglas Eagles take on the Flanagan Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stoneman Douglas knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Flanagan likes a good challenge.
