Soccer Recap: Apopka Comes Up Short

Apopka managed to keep up with Hagerty until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Apopka Blue Darters came up short against the Hagerty Huskies, falling 4-0. The Blue Darters were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Apopka's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Hagerty, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Apopka will take on Lake Brantley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Brantley's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hagerty, they will face off against West Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hagerty will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
