Baseball Recap: Lafayette County's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After flying high against Oak Grove on Wednesday, Lafayette County came back down to earth. The Huskers fell 5-2 to the Carrollton Trojans on Thursday. The Huskers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Lafayette County moved to 9-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Carrollton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
