Tahara Diallo leads a balanced attack to beat West Laurens

The Dublin Fighting Irish won the last time they faced the West Laurens Raiders, and things went their way on Saturday too. Dublin pulled ahead with a 51-50 photo finish over West Laurens. Given Dublin's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while West Laurens is ranked 320th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dublin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tahara Diallo, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The contest was Diallo's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nahallie Turnley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Dublin's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for West Laurens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dublin will take on Bleckley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Laurens, they will be playing at home against Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
