Baseball Recap: Duluth East Comes Up Short

Duluth East fell victim to Superior and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Greyhounds were not able to get on the board.

Duluth East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Superior, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Duluth East and Superior will both be playing Cloquet the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Lumberjacks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Greyhounds will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
