Softball Preview: Twin Rivers Royals vs. Central Tigers        
        
		
             Twin Rivers and Central are an even 3-3 against one another  since September of 2017, but likely not for long. The Twin Rivers Royals will head out to  face off against the Central Tigers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
 Twin Rivers came up short against  Kelly on Tuesday, falling  13-5. The Royals have struggled against the Hawks recently, as their game  on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
 Twin Rivers saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alexis Parson, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  triple. What's more,  Parson also racked up  no  strikeouts, the fewestshe's  had since back in August of 2023.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. They put the hurt on Jefferson with a sharp  13-3 win on Thursday. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
 Twin Rivers now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-17.
 Twin Rivers took their  victory against Central  in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 by a conclusive  9-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Twin Rivers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
