Baseball Recap: South Callaway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fayette on Tuesday, South Callaway came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Hermann Bearcats by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

South Callaway's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Hermann, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Callaway will take on Clopton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hermann, they will welcome Eugene at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
