Basketball Game Preview: C.A. Johnson Hornets vs. Dutch Fork Silver Foxes

Having just played yesterday, the C.A. Johnson Hornets will jump right back in to play the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. C.A. Johnson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Dutch Fork likes a good challenge.

On Friday, C.A. Johnson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Indian Land, but they still walked away with a 74-69 victory.

C.A. Johnson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiassic Germany, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. The game was Germany's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javarious Wyche, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 18 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Dutch Fork strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 60-17 win over Hammond. Given the Silver Foxes' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Skyhawks are ranked 155th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

C.A. Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Dutch Fork, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
