The Lincoln Railsplitters are taking a road trip to challenge the Tri-Valley Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Lincoln's last matchup with Mt. Zion could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. The Railsplitters lost 10-0 to the Braves. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Tri-Valley waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Trojans.

Gretchen Wyant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
